Amid the increased interest in memecoins, billionaire Elon Musk joined the party by making a subtle reference to Pepe Coin in a meme.
Billionaire Elon Musk joined the party by indirectly mentioning Pepe Coin in a meme, just as the cryptocurrency market was debating whether the current memecoin season has peaked. This happened shortly after Musk announced that Linda Yaccarino would be taking over as Twitter’s new CEO.
According to a previous CoinGape story, the new CEO is also rumored to be a fan of meme coins, which might be very beneficial to the community of cryptocurrency traders.
A meme that was obviously focused on American constitutional amendments was shared by the Tesla CEO in the meantime. Nevertheless, what drew people’s attention was the “Pepe the frog” character in the meme, which may have been a subtle nod to Musk’s support for Dogecoin (DOGE), another memecoin, in addition to his tweets about Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Floki Inu (FLOKI).
PEPE Coin Frog is Mentioned by Elon Musk
In his meme post detailing constitutional amendments, Musk employed the Pepe frog character. The official Pepe Coin account replied with the phrase “seize the memes of production.” It was similar to the expression “Seize the Means of Production.” The PEPE coin price immediately increased once Elon Musk mentioned the frog.
